![]() I have played this game for several years and I will continue to play it for many many more. and that there are descriptions of each and every one just goes to show the creators really put a TON of time into making this absolute LEGEND of a game. And finally 3) The detail is incredible! Just the fact that there are so many different ships, weapons, equipment, etc. 2) The storyline is extremely well done! The storyline was made in such a way that it not only captivates the player, but influences the player to almost wish it would never end. The way you are able to just go wherever you want to go, do whatever you want to do, and be whoever you want to be is really only matched by a VERY few select games. This game is amazing in so many ways, but I will only list a few 1) The free play is awesome! Very few mobile games have such a free, open-world gameplay like GOF2. ![]() I simply cannot overstate the absolute insane quality of this amazing game! I have played this game for 100+ hours, and it is completely in a class of its own for a space-oriented game. Much like other city-building sim games, the citizens in Skylines react to the stuff around them. The city will go through day and night cycles and conditions like traffic changes. It seems that getting a kingdom up and running, that first few years when it is make or break - that seems to be the more fun aspect for me.īut for a multiplayer game, there would need to be some goals about when that particular game is finished (either resulting with success or failure) Ah yes, I see what you say. I think it could be but I doubt I'd play a lot of multiplayer games with it. Just to give an example think about this: how would controlling gnomes work? Would each player get to control every gnome? Or would each player get their own gnomes? If they get their own gnomes how would incoming gnomes work? Would they be split evenly? Would the incoming migration of gnomes be based on the value of stuff that each individual player made? What if one player was focused on resource gathering while the other on building? Each decision then leads to more decisions to decide how to handle multiplayer. In many ways it would be like rewriting the entire game from scratch. Gnomoria is pretty far down the single player track and to go back to implement network code would be a huge undertaking. There are a ton of decisions that have to be made throughout the course of a game's development that directly impact how multiplayer would work. The game engine needs to be designed from the start with multiplayer in mind. ![]() Sorry to burst the bubble on that one but multiplayer (co-op or not) is not something that can just be added on to a game as an after thought. The decimated Cardinals still won 95 games, but finished three back of the Cubs. They would not relinquish 1st place for the remainder of the season. The All-Star game was cancelled that season, but during the break, the Cubs signed "All-Star" Hank Borowy from the Yankees for $100,000. The day before the All-Star break, the Cubs climbed into 1st place. Whereas many clubs fielded teams that were a patchwork of regulars and replacement players, the Cubs rolled out nearly the same starting eight and rotation as they had the season before. Every team was dealt their cards and had to play their hand. That caused some grumbling from fans, but honestly, what can you have expected those players to do?Īt the end of the day, it was a very difficult time for men of military age, and for teams of baseball players assembled from men of military age.
